Hextech boxes

I don´t really know if there is a problem with the game or if I´m missing something. If we go on profile we can see how many hextech boxes are available to get and when will the next box be available. It also says that if you want to win a hextech box, you or a premade mate should have a s- or above. Well I´m very honest with you guys, I play a lot of ranked games, most of them SOLO, and i receive a lot of s´s but never a box. It´s not something new, because I can tell you that i haven´t get a box in months untill yesterday. What i did yesterday different is that i finally played duo with somebody and got S. I really don´t know where the problem is. It would be nice if somebody could help me with this dilemma. Thank you a lot.!!

P.S.: Let me mention I´m on EUW server.

Are you earning these s ranks with the same champion? Because you can only earn ONE chest per champ per season. For example, if you got an s rank for a champ, you will get a chest. However, you will not be able to get another chest with that champ until a new season starts. To check which champs you have earned a chest for, go to your collection and view your champs. The champion portraits with a gold border have already received a chest for this season. Hope this helped, I can't think of any other reason you're not getting chests other than this.
