League of legends won't open

Hello

I have read several threads about client not wanting to open. It still hasn't solved my problem.

Here's my case:

When I download and install LOL on my macbook, it opens once, while installing the game. whenever I shut the client down, it will not open again. I have read about deleting lock file, I have had this problem before and it worked but now I have no lock file so not working.

Then I read about user kernel in RADS folder. I have checked everywhere but I can't find a rads folder or a user kernel file. maybe this is out dated and there is no such file anymore in the new patch idk?

I tried installing the game and duplicating the files straight away after installing, then tried swapping them.. still not working.

I need to reinstall the game every time I want to play.. very annoying

Can anyone help me please?

Can you reach out to player support? They will ask you for your logs. Can you ask them to forward your logs to Riot BlueMonday. I can look into it for you! No promises though. macOS is rough D:

Also out of curiosity what version of macOS are you using? Catalina? Mojave? Even older? I haven't been following the discussions very closely but I think there may be some issues with Catalina?

I believe we stopped using RADS A while ago. RADS is the old Riot patcher. Riot switched to a new much much much faster patcher.
