Alright this has happened to me personally 5-6 times now and also to many of my friends. I know it is happening to others too because the number of remakes that have been happening lately is through the roof.

THIS IS A GAME BREAKING BUG!

tl;dr: There is a bug which causes the game to get stuck at the loading screen for some players while the rest of the players actually get in game. This can be fixed but using task manager to close league of legends and reconnect to the game. The problem is that there is 0 indication that the game has started without you so often by the time you realize that the bug has occurred the everyone else in the game is already 2-3 levels higher than you.

THIS ENCOURAGES TOXIC BEHAVIOR!

Once you reconnect to the game you instantly get flamed by your teammates who say stuff like "You shouldn't have come back" or "I wish you never connected". I was told by two of team mates last time this happened to me that they are reporting me for reconnecting to the game because I am causing them to lose LP rather than just taking the hit myself... Is it wrong for me to try to defend my LP by reconnecting and trying to win?

Riot please address this the season is coming to an end shortly and this bug has costed many so much loss.

I had this issue happen just now. Tried reconnecting but got hit with a leaver penalty. Kind of frustrating climbing and all my leaver statuses are because the game gets to 100% but freezes.

same thing has already happened to me and my friends, also that people get toxic when reconnecting after several mintues, using task manager doesn't work for me, i have to log off of windows and reconnect, then reconnect to the game

Make sure to up-vote these topics, as Riot seems to be doing nothing to address or even acknowledge it currently. Good luck summoners.

My itnernet broke down for a few moments in a game once and when I reconnected and told them what happened my Kass acted like he understood it and was fine with it.

Later on he flamed me for it, wtf.

Bumping this again because I just played a game where I randomly got "Attempting to reconnect.." in the middle of a match and it wasn't able to. During the time it was trying to reconnect I checked 3 different websites and I was able to access all of them so it's not my internet. A few minutes later I was able to reconnect by using task manager to close the game completely and re log-in.

No surprise that my team was toxic to me for the rest of the game after this. Can someone from riot please at least acknowledge that you are aware of these problems?

You're not alone. Myself and many friends have had this happen to the point we actually message each other out of game to make sure we're not stuck... I can't play alone anymore out of fear of this happening. Riot needs to at least respond and acknowledge that this is an issue instead of ignoring it completely

This has happened to several of my games the last couple weeks, but three of which in two days we were unable to remake despite the person never fully connecting. Free 60 LP loss??
