Client "News" and home screen is completely black

This has been occurring for about a week now. I can still launch the client and que up with other summoners, however the news and updates that are normally on the home page when you first sign in to the client are not appearing, it is completely black and I'm not sure how to resolve this issue.

Same for me and everything i have tried (re-installing and patching lol etc) havnt worked. A fix would be nice.

I have had the same problem for a few days now. I have re-installed league, repaired it, and nothing. The interesting thing is that when I log in using my LAN or EUW accounts they seem to be ok. It is just my NA account where I have problems.
