I uninstalled due to a side by side config issue and saw that reinstalling fixed it most of the time. Now when it downloads the new client and I hit the Launch button it just closes I think and I don't know what to do. I'm no tech expert so please walk me through every step if it's a long process. Thanks in advance guys.
Did you use the repair feature on the client, or did you uninstall and then reinstall?

Try a Print-Screen, and Paste into Paint, then upload to imgur (your file), share that link then we can all see exactly where you're at.
Of course unless someone can tell exactly where you are already...
try to see if deleting the .yaml extension files in riot/config fixes the issue. these are automatically generated, also, check your task manager to see if league is actually open, other options include attempting to open league with administrative privileges. more info allows for better aid.
