[Gameplay] Ryze Spell Flux spreads with Overload

Don't know if this is a bug or if it is intended, but haven't seen anything about Ryze in the patch notes. When a target have Spell Flux (E), and he hits it with Overload (Q), Spell Flux spread towards nearby enemies even though the first target didn't die (the first target spell flux is consumed). This happens on champions, minions, and jungle monsters.

A step-by-step: 1: Hit an enemy, surrounded by other enemies, with Spell Flux. 2: Hit it with Overload, without the enemy dying. 3: See how Spell Flux spreads to the other enemies

Have happened in 2 games (out of 2), and 2 solo-custom games.

I'm not home to test it myself, otherwise I would. Can you get some screen grabs or a short video of it happening?

Short video doing it on a jungle camp, works exactly the same way in the lane. http://puu.sh/rOiUE/553c7e48b0.flv

Reading over Spell Flux again, it's definitely intended that way. Honestly didn't know that's how it worked though. :p

No it doesn't, from wiki: "FLUX: Overload deals increased damage, based on Spell Flux's rank, and spreads to all nearby enemies marked with Flux, consuming the mark on all targets.", which means the overload damage spreads to all spell flux marked enemies, and applying the bonus damage and ingame text says the similar thing. Didn't do it before newest patch (patch 6.21).

Wait yes. You are right. I retract my statement. The wording on Spell Flux is so janky it's hard to understand. .-.

I'm guessing this is why they disabled him. That is not working as intended. The unit needs to die for it to spread
