[GAMEPLAY] HOW IS THIS STILL NOT FIXED

So yesterday I was playing solo que ranked and I was playing Xerath. The enemy team chose to pick shaco mid against me. I thought that was kind of odd, but pretty soon I found out why. Apparently shacos fear ability with that little box nulls the ability to use my Q for the whole game. From what I noticed it happened when I got feared mid Q. The enemy shaco then started laughing at me saying, and I quote "can't use your Q huh buddy haha" When I searched about this issue I saw a similar post from 4 MONTHS AGO. In that post it said if I restart my client It will allow me to Q again, so I restarted and it let me. Also, I searched it wasn't only shaco and xerath that this happens to. If ur ability is a charge up like Vi Q then you are at risk at getting that ability nulled for the whole game. Also it's not only shacos box it's any fear,silence, or taunt that can bug your champ. So im very shocked that it's been 4 months and still no fix to this bug. Please summoners we need to shed light on this issue, because now im paranoid to play Xerath my favorite champ.

EDIT: Many people are saying to change my key bind of the ability, and change it back. I tried that mid game, and it still didn't work!. The ONLY way to fix it is by restarting your client.
