Pathing when warding near blue outer-mid turret [Gameplay] - Warding
There's a bug when trying to ward in a specific spot near mid turret. As you know, when trying to place a ward on terrain, the champion will walk to the wall and then place the ward, which will then place the ward in the nearest wardable spot, which can be useful for getting vision in places without exposing yourself as much to danger. Well, there's a spot where this doesn't happen and it's messed with my two or three times in ranked play. I'll explain it as best as I can. I would include a screenshot but I don't readily see a place to do that so I'll stick with words.
Ok, so near red's mid turret, the outermost one (closest to the enemy team), there's a bush directly to the right. In between the bush and the turret is some terrain with a bunch of trees on it. On the southernmost wall of this terrain, there's a little rock sticking out, creating a sort of a crevice in the wall. The bug happens when standing anywhere near this crevice. When trying to use the warding trinket, there are two trees just outside the warding radius on the southeastern part of this terrain where, when clicked on, the champion doesn't move and the ward isn't placed, as though no command was given. Specifically, it's the one tree on the eastern wall of this block of terrain, and the tree largely overlapping this tree. If you're coming from mid turret, if you click to ward on that spot, the champion will walk to the crevice and stop (without warding). If you're standing by the crevice, as I mentioned, nothing happens. I've tried it in practice mode with two champions, and it's caught me in ranked with two other champions.
