[Gameplay] Thresh lantern changes Sion's charge's trajectory
I had this Thresh for a support and was going in for the stun with my R down in botlane (coming from purple side). The guy didn't realize I was charging for the gank instead of walking and threw out his lantern while I was in my R. When I collided with the lantern it immediately jarred the angle of my ult and threw me into the river wall instead of the enemy team. It had to have been at least a fifteen-degree instant change in the direction Sion was charging and there's no way he can change directions that fast.
Recreate this like I did a billion times:
- Thresh and Sion on the same team.
- Thresh stand in outer-wall botlane bushes.
- Sion R coming from the approximate location of the first purple turret.
- Throw out yo lantern. As far as this goes, the longer the lantern is out, the less of a drastic change to Sion's trajectory. If you throw it out just before he hits it the change is more dramatic, which can do things like THROW YOU INTO THE RIVER WALL INSTEAD OF THE ENEMY TEAM.
- Collide with lantern.
- Cry.
You can feel the "pull" of the angle change when he collides with the lantern stronger when Thresh is throwing out his lantern just before you reach the location he pitches it to.
