LOL client inspects all drives connected to my PC

I have noticed when I open the LOL client and when I start a new LOL game (TFT, Aram), the LOL client inspects the drives that I have connected in my PC. For example, if I'm reading a movie on my bluray drive and I start Aram or TFT, the drive starts making loud noises because it is trying to seek information coming from two processes.

I can reproduce this 100% of the time and also it happens when I have multiple drives connected to my PC. The LOL client tries to read something from one drive at a time, when it finishes it passes to the next drive.

Riot, I would like to think that you take the user's privacy very seriously so hopefully what I posted here is not serious. The LOL client has absolutely no business on reading anything from any drive except the one where the LOL client is installed. Please fix this or give an explanation of this behavior. This doesn't happen with any other game I have installed on my PC, only LOL.
