Try to uninstall the game and download again the game on LoL website.it works for me and right click and run as admin. But there are few problems i encountered. The patch stuck at 2/2 252mb 88% and it says 0kbps so i closed it then bugsplat something pop up and it says to send report or no i reported it and sen. after that, i tried to patch it again and came back to 0% and stuck to 88% same as first now bugsplat pop again i did not send the report i opened again the launcher and the launcher scan files maybe up to 2300 files and after that it patch again maybe 750mb not like the first one like 2.5gb size and i noticed when it nears to 252mb the download speed is getting weak and now it passes 252mb and the download speed came high hoooooray! Finish the patch try to login you will notice abit slow when logging in. Give me a feedback if it works also to you well crossfingers :)) i hope you can play now

Ok so i had this issue just recently. I looked it up and what you gotta do is go to internet explorer, then click that little gear on the top right, go to internet options>Advanced settings, then restore advanced settings and apply.
