Aurelion sol.Is this a bug or something?

So yesterday i was playing with some of my friends, and in the enemy team there was an aurelion sol. Now what happened is that he used his "E", and as it states that he will be visible but what was weird is that it didn't remove the visibility after the "E" cast. We had vision of him for the entire match without wards. Is this a bug or so?
