Like the title states, at 17:20 in an ARAM game Fizz (I) was hooked by a Blitzcrank Q. When I attempted to E his E (knock-up), I was somehow knocked airborne by the latter despite the former making me invulnerable (you can see for a split second at 17:21 that I am using E), thus killing me. This was the second time this happened this game (the exact same interaction), but this is the clearest example of it.
Can't prove anything with a crap-shoot recording like that... feelsbad
Once Blitz knockup is started itll work through anything as far as i know. It even knocks people up mid-zhonyas.
Youre also not invulnerable during Fizz E just untargetable.
There's a certain point at which melee auto attacks can't be canceled by anything other than input from the attacker. Been like that for a while. Hence the existence of "I WAS IN ALPHA"
Yeah it's there since Fizz release (season 2). Like this guy is saying below, Blitz's E mechanic is just a superslow aa's that become an ability, which means if he targeted you before you become untargetable, you'll get hit anyway (caus it counts as an aa's range ability). Same goes for Master Yi's Q, but you just cant see it and it's faster
But there are very little interactions between fizz and blitz (caus theyre not popular these days) so it would be a waste of time for Riot to try to change blitz's entire E mechanic just for this single interaction. You'll have to rescript it entirely
