Riot and Ranking

Dear Riot,

Your ranking system is subpar. I would like to let you know that while I expect no change from this forum, I'd like to say it anyway.

7 out of 10 games. 7 out of 10 games won, and you give me Bronze 5.

I was Bronze for eternity, trying to rise through the ranks, going up and yet falling back into the abyss. I am aware that ranking is only around what you were in previous seasons, but seriously? Not a single upgrade? I wouldn't have complained if you'd just given me the 4. or at least some LP with the Bronze 5. What point is there to a ranking provisional if the best I can hope for is the bottom. Shouldn't improvement be rewarded? Like why? Why not just start me off at Bronze 5 from the start if that's all I'm gonna end up with anyway?

And with that, I'm done. Feel free to ignore this, because honestly, I don't expect a single consideration to be taken from this. All I wanted was a little break, you give me rock bottom. Why not just make wood a rank and just stick me there instead?
