[CLIENT] LOW PRIORITY Q BUG (LPQ 'Countdown' Window Counts Wrong(?), Freezes After, GG 20+ Minutes)
There's a TL;DR at the bottom for curious ppls who don't care enough to read the novel I just pumped out. Also made a video demonstrating what I'm explaining, because it happened as I was typing this up.

I will try my best not to dive TOO deep down the unsatisfying rabbit hole that is ridiculing leaver-buster being that logic clearly plays no part in its progress or lack thereof, but I've come across a weird bug that has me going through 1, sometimes 2 additional LPQ resets PER game. I have something of a CS/SE background and I'm surmising that this is a client/local-side issue pertaining to something interrupting and temporarily stopping my LPQ countdown. Not sure how it could be server side really but I could certainly be wrong.
When my very familiar yet obviously always deserved, just like everyone else ever without question ( :D ) LPQ layover pops up, I see the normal 20 minute timer countdown that I am blessed with each time a pin drops in the wrong spot somewhere between here and RitoLand. As usual, the 20:00 countdown begins, blocking access to anything except for everyone's favorite (leave queue because these 17 minutes were well spent) button. I'm fairly sure people who are just in the lobby but aren't those being punished for this nonsense reason or that can still use the rest of the client options and only the offender is limited, but I could be remembering that incorrectly. (Okay I'll seriously try not to complain from here on)
I can, however, see the very slightly shaded-darker client behind the popup, including the faint but visible red (sometimes red?) timer at the top right, indicating to all in queue just how long they've been there. Unfortunately, I've grown pretty accustomed after so many leaverbuster incidents to just tabbing out or doing something else around the house for a portion of these 20 minutes, so I can't (yet) accurately say whether there is something I can observe at the exact moment of occurrence to shed light somehow on when or why it happens but here is what happens - the bug if you will - in as many words as I can explain it:
At some point during the lpq, the countdowns on both the overlay and the faint top-right corner, cease to match/compliment each other. In any normal case the remaining time displayed on the overlay would reflect your total LPQ punishment time minus however long you have been in queue. Something like 3 or 4 times now this week though, I've come back to see the 'elapsed queue' timer at the top right getting dangerously close to 20 while my overlay is not nearly down to a level that would match the elapsed time appropriately. Presumably, the LPQ countdown STOPPED and some point and the top-right time elapsed DID NOT stop, which would explain why it goes on for longer than the countdown on the popup (Which you can't remove without guaranteeing you reset the full 20mins), but I can't be sure because I haven't seen what occurs the moment it/they change(s). The first time this happened (roughly 7-10 days ago I think) I was queued with a friend and on the phone with him, so I explained what I was seeing and he confirmed that the elapsed timer was where I said it was, despite my countdown not being as close to finished. We crossed our fingers in hopes that once the elapsed time surpassed 20:00, the overlay would disappear, effectively establishing itself as likely just some lapse in appropriate calculation by the client, but alas, the overlay remained, and the elapsed timer continued beyond 20.
At this point we're understandably confused, but we ride it out until a few minutes have passed into our queue (which as of yet had not yielded any successful matchmaking). The overlay disappeared as it usually would after completing the countdown, and I assumed all was well and we'd just have to wait now that this weird mix-up had come and gone, but as I peered up to the top-right queue timer, I noticed it had stopped counting abruptly, unchanging from whatever it was at the time the overlay disappeared (something like 24:XX). The button at the bottom remains grayed, unclickable and says "in queue" but we waited several minutes for good measure before restarting the queue. Well, the lpq we had to wait for again that preceded the queue.
I'll try to remember to watch my remaining LPQs more attentively so I can pinpoint if there's any sort of sign indicating why it happens, but until then all I know is, and in tl;dr format:
TL;DR - Low Priority Queue countdown pop up and Elapsed Queue Timer at top right eventually change and and no longer compliment each other (match mathematically to total what your LPQ timer should be), remaining time popup has more time than would result in elapsed totaling 20:00, and when the pop up finally finishes counting down, the elapsed timer just freezes wherever the LPQ stopped counting down, somewhere shortly after the 20:00 total it should have stopped the lpq stage at.
