Game not working with Windows 10 update KB4515384

My game no longer works after windows update KB4515384.

The game ejects to a bugsplat window on all load screens and any attempt to reconnect does the same.

Looking through the forums there are a large number of people with the same issue. Uninstalling the above windows patch instantly corrects the problem and is given as a solution on a number of threads.

As this patch involves security patches for vulnerabilities, when will it be addressed by riot?
