Unresponsive blank window in champion select (PVP.net Client)

I had just joined a match when the champion select are was instead a blank screen i could not interact with but I could click on other icons on the screen. This has only happened once so far, but because I had failed to select a champion I was given a penalty. Please look into this so more people don't have to suffer through unfair wait times.
