Yasuo Windwall and Annie Q Stun Interaction

As I've played against a few Annies recently, I've noticed that if Yasuo wall blocks a q which is supposed to have a stun effect, it Annie retains her stun. Is this intended or a bug? Because it kind of nulls the windwall in lane against Annie as an opponent if I don't have a way to actually bait out the stun before I go in.

I think this is a bug, because I can remember using Annie against a Yasuo and he popped my stun by windwalling it.

The ability is interrupted thus the passive acts as though it was never activated (this also happens if Annie dies mid-Q with a stun). It has to come in contact with the target for it to count on her Pyromania (passive).

Bumping just for the hope of an official Rito response

I've had this happen as Annie. My stun was at 3 of 4 charges, I Q'ed into the windwall to get my final stun charge and stun yasuo with W since it is not a projectile. Much confusion followed, since I didn't understand why my w didn't stun him.

Only when watching the replay I noticed my q didn't generate a stun charge because it was blocked. This seems very inconsistent with the rest of her spells since they generate a charge instantly when cast, no matter if the spell actually hit something. I hope Riot changes this, since this interaction seems illogical (atleast to me).
