Unable to Undo A Purchase [GAMEPLAY]

This has happened to me on several occasions, mostly on Howling Abyss. I'll buy an item, but then want to undo it. It doesn't give me the option to. I don't close out of the shop, and it's usually within a few seconds of buying it that I realize I want to undo the purchase (either because I bought a repeat accidentally, or decided I wanted to buy something else). Is this supposed to happen?

It's getting annoying when I have to sell back the item and lose gold for it.

I don't think it's a bug. I just don't think there is an option to do this, but I do this type of thing all the time. If there is a way to undo an item purchase I really need to learn how!
