Cant launch client

So I was running league perfectly fine last night, no issues. I go to log in today and I get this error launching the client "There is a problem with your connection. If you are not currently connected to the internet, please do so. If you are already on-line but cannot connect to League of Legends, check our support page to find possible solutions." Alright, so I tried restarting the client, but nothing works. I figure that it might be my internet connection or just something random with my computer, so re-boot my computer and reset my internet. When everything comes back on, I check my internet to make sure its working, everything is good to go, and I try re-launching the client and run into the same error again. I even tried launching straight into legacy client and nothing seems to be working. Can someone please help?

I was logged on, after I downloaded 6.24. Then randomly while waiting for friends I got the message that it needs to restart for another patch. Now My client won't patch. It is putting me in a loop of errors and restarting the client. Uninstalling to try to resolve now.... Fun.

The same thing is happening to me. I checked packet loss using the resource manager as well as the cmd prompt "ping google.com" I lost 0/26 packets I sent. Internet speed according to fast.com is 130mbps. I am running i5 6600k with MSI R9 290x on a MSI pcmate 170A. Those components should not matter, but just so you know rito. Launching the old client results in a "you are not able to connect to https server" or something similar.

I played 2 ranked matches then it went down for me. Haven't been able to get back on for the past 30 minutes or so :/

Edit: nevermind..it didn't. It did work only for a sec..then suddenly it would show an error message.
