Skillshot Glitch

So I have been playing Thresh, and Nidalee for a while. I've noticed that in a few game my skillshots(Thresh and Nidalee Q's) have been going through the enemy, not dealing damage/making contact. I think the glitch happens when the skillshots go through walls or over terrain because in my recent games with both champs, the Q's that went went though or over terrain sometimes went straight through the enemy.
