illaoi spawn tentacles that attack after death?

The last ARAM match I played illaoi's tentacles were spawning literally after illaoi died (in fact the whole time of death + the time it took to run back) and attacking people what seemed like every 5 - 10 seconds at most (The spawning, attacks were happening as well not as often as the spawns) Is this normal? I don't think it is. In fact since the tentacle spawn is a passive I'm assuming it can't happen period when illaoi dies as her tentacles usually go "dormant" during her death. thoughts? Help? Possible bug? Anyone else seen/experienced this?! Thanks for your time everyone!
