Game crashed while running

My game disconnected from the internet and then crashed mid ranked game. Once I restarted the client, this message appeared: "We have restored the installation to an older version of LOL. Now we'll try to patch it up to the latest version." I assume there was some bug in the patch that caused this. Please help me in ensuring this bug is resolved.
