Rift Herald Kayn Shadow Assassin bug

So when I took the rift herald as Kayn blue from (assassin) i didn't take the purple egg thing on the ground right after, I started killing the scudle crab and when i used W my shadow took the rift not me and it didn't give me the thing ... i have a clip :O
