I was playing ARAM Lulu, and there was a Galio on the opposite team. I bought Mikael's Crucible to counter his ult, but it turns out you can't use it against him. The league wiki says his ult is a taunt and Crucible is suppose to remove all stuns, roots, taunts, fears, silences, and slows on allied champs.
MisterHealYoGirl1 votesIt works fine against his taunt, you just can't use it while you're affected by it. You could free an ally with it, but not yourself. You'd need a QSS or Mercurial Scimitar for that.

ShockRock3 votesYour ally can be affected by it, but you, the caster, can't be stunned etc.
Also, for future context, you can't Mikael's, QSS, etc. Galio ult since it constantly refreshes the taunt while he's in his idol form.
