Ranked Draft lag and cant lock in champions

I was in Ranked draft and i could type, chat and change summoners spell just fine (although the chat took about 2 seconds to popup in the message from when I press enter). When it is my turn to pick i could also pick my champion but i cant press the lock in button. The lock in sound plays and the button grays for half a second but then it turns back to the orange color. I could click it again and it does the same thing every time until the time reaches 0 . At this point i lost lp twice for the two times that i "doged" champ select and this is really frustrating. can someone help me?
