Kalista's
passive that makes whom ever is bound to her do more damage when they auto attack the same person/creature causes targons
(and the upgraded form) to not proc. It's really irritating and makes it very difficult to use the item while supporting Kalista.

... Even though I rarely buy in the first place (Primarily just on Taric or Leona), but my point still stands.

(Also it's easy enough to buy Coin or Spellthief's, but Targon's is the "tank" one and IMO it shouldn't be completely off the table just because of the fact of your ADC. If it doesn't make sense, that's one thing, but if it plain old doesn't work, that's another.)
Roxforbraynz3 votes gives you more health in lane in the long run, letting you go for somewhat more risky souls, taking more harass than the other two for a higher soul count. The speed boost after it's upgraded is great for catching up to fleeing enemies or fleeing from your enemies. Also, when it's fully upgraded, dat +100% base health and mana regen. I never have mana problems when I get it, even when spamming abilities left and right.
Is all about the poke. Especially if you level Flay first, your pokes will hurt. It also triggers if you land a hook, and on every single person caught in your Flay. Gold everywhere. Pretty good slow when it's upgraded too. The AP on it makes your abilities hit harder as well.
Even though is the "tank item", I feel the other two are better for Thresh and you get your tankiness from other items while having the utility of one of the other two rather than a shield. My endgame build for Thresh usually looks something like this...
ThUndead2 votesAlso with kalista and her passive, when using martial poise quite often when attacking champions or jungle camps with bigger damage you right click away from them and she'll jump forwards when attacking champs and its soo annoying i have stopped playing her i've even tried using A for attack move behind me and turned off minion attacks and it still does it. still jumps towards the person i am assaulting
