[CLIENT] Chest Opening does not give rewards

Hi! So I thought of looking on my shards from the "Loot" tab. I went there and there was not much to look at. Anyway my finger rolled the mouse-wheel and when it hit the bottom I noticed a chest. (I used 3 "Key Fragments" to create 1 Key previously) So I clicked "Open". I got some sort of gem (I don't know what it really was, I think it was a yellow gem or something) and a skin named "Project: Lucian". Then I saw the button "Make it permanent" or something and I panicked because I wasn't ready to make it permanent since I don't have the champion. So I clicked "Lobby" or something else (I don't remember exactly what I clicked) so I could not have to make it permanent. I thought that "Make it permanent" would make it permanent as in not a shard anymore and I wanted it to stay a shard a little bit more.

Anyway, when I came to "Loot" there was no skin and no gem either. So I restarted the client to see if it was a refresh problem. But it seems it was not. Also my keys are down to 0.

The funny thing is that I don't remember winning a chest. That's why I opened it like "This is my chance, a CHEST of which I don't know anything about!"

So I would like to know If the chest was real or it was a glitch. And if it was real why did I lose EVERYTHING when I clicked somewhere else?
