Leaverbuster activating because of the latest patch

I'm getting leaverbuster warnings without actually intentionally leaving games or ragequitting as I have before (yes yes, big deal), pretty much every match I load into crashes during the loading screen, using the reconnect button results in the same crash, only killing the .exe and logging in again fixes it. On a couple of occasions I've loaded in, but had the normal desktop mouse cursor up and the game running at 5 fps without me being able to interact with it at all and have had to restart my computer in order to play again.

All this (and some exceptionally irritating players) has left me feeling pretty sour and disappointed with the game. It seems as though each new patch over the last year has actually made smooth gameplay even harder to attain. What the hell is going on?
