Holy Moly Champ Select Crash and Weirdness

This is beta client FYI:

Was in champ select and our team had locked in its final pic (jungler locked Hecarim, I heard the sound). Right then I got a bug splat. Champ select came back up, same team, apparently others had splatted too cause they were all "WTF", but now the jungler was Sona (he was like WTF) the game then dodged. When I was dumped back to my queuing screen. I was now in the position to the left of center (I was solo so just one person queuing) and the center spot where I'd normally be was blank, but had positions selected like Support/Middle.
