[GAMEPLAY] Lee sin Q not bringing me over walls?

Not sure if this is a bug or apart of the game but whenever i ulted someone over a wall with my Q on them then try to dash to them, I hit the wall and stop the dash. I doubt it but I also could have pressed Q too early and hit them before my ult finishes moving them?
