Can't download new client.

So I uninstalled League as a joke since I was playing bad, and when I went and reinstalled the game, the legacy launcher worked fine, but when I tried to download the new launcher it didn't even download and made it unable to even launch the game even without the legacy launcher. I don't understand if this is intentional (it doesn't seem to be) or if it's just a bug that needs to be fixed.

I'm getting exact same problem. Clicked update client and nothing happened, then tried launching original client and now that doesn't work

Im trying to download the new client but it always stops at 6% and then a little box comes up with the text "Unspecified error occurred. Please check the logs for more information."
