[GAMEPLAY] MF Q doesn't do damage if enemy dashes to FOW/OOR

On Miss Fortune, if you Q an enemy while he flahses out to FOW, takes Thresh's Lantern, etc. You see the Q's projectile going through FOW but it ends up doing no damage.

It is also reproducible, but much less frequently, when the enemy champion dashes out of range but still visible, then you can see the projectile land but deals no damage at all. (ie. Lucian's E, Trist W)

Eg. You Q enemy Lucian in the middle of bot lane, he takes up Thresh's Lantern and E's behind his turret (red side).

I have tried this over 4 games (ranked) and believe it is game breaking.
