Bot mechanics suggestion

Ok. I just played an AI game where one of my teammates decided to play jg. Now, I get this, if you wanna practice with a new jungle champion for you, and maybe try different jungling routes playing an AI game should be a great idea. So I shouldn't have minded. But here's the thing, we all know that the bots choose the lanes as follows: 2 top 1 mid 2 bot. So here I was on my own in the top lane trying to learn and practice a new champion and I'm getting totally zoned and bullied by bots! I'm ranked silver 3 so bots are never a problem for me, just a place to practice mechanics and cs, but I was trying to practice with Pantheon who is mainly good at dueling.... NOT against a J4 and a Darius BOTH WITH IGNITE. So I was immediately bullied away from any chances at cs and even died a few times, which is normally rare in bot games for me. So it was kind of a waste of time for me (I can only play so many games a day). I mean, I get that it was maybe good experience for me to practice dealing with a lane camp situation. But then in theory our jungler would counter camp... which defeats our jungler's goals of practicing a standard jungle route. In this specific situation my jungler refused to even join me in lane after a few passes through the jungle. I was pretty annoyed. For the record I made a slight come back and did finish with a positive score...it was never in doubt. But still, VERY ANNOYING and awkward.

The main point of this post is to suggest maybe some kind of mechanic, where, if someone on your team brings smite, maybe the server would recognize this and place one of its bots in the jg/roaming role with smite. Maybe this would take way too far advanced an AI system to accomplish this, or too extreme a challenge in coding to be worth the effort, or just get complicated by the fact that some people bring smite to lane with, I don't know. If it was somehow posible, it sure would make for a much better simulation of what it is like to play a PvP game. Wards would be useful for once in an AI game and players would have to be mindful of ganks which are absent in the current AI game set up. Just a suggestion. Hope somebody sees this.....

I play a lot of bot matches since my internet is downright unreliable (that's practically praising them) during most of the day, so in my experience you should just play passively until you outlevel them, TP back with an item then you can 1v2.

If this isn't good enough, ask to swap with your mid laner, or if you can duo mid for a little bit til you are strong enough to go back top.

For changing the AI though, that can't really be done at this time. The bots literally don't know what a wall is. That's why they don't jungle. It would take a new AI system like you said.

Thanks for your response.

Like I said it's not that I didn't know how to manage it... I was never worried about losing but the mid a bot lane had a much more natural play experience. So my post is more about the second paragraph where I'm making a suggestion how to improve the game.
