The complete lack of an official response or update to the situation since last Tuesday is unacceptable. Players are getting leaver bans and discipline for this problem on Riot's end?
F2P business model only works when customers have trust and this is ruining it.
Just had this crap happen for the 4th time in a row today alone, have had it occur another 3 times in the past week. Previously was eventually able to reconnect after many tries, but ever since they did "Live server maintenance" on Saturday night I've not been able to connect any time I've encountered this problem.
If I see another friggin' skin come out before this gets fixed, Riot will never see another dime from me.

I finally heard back on the support ticket where I provided match history links to the four games this problem ruined for me, and they said "We can't do anything about your leaver status because the system is automated." Wow. This is a slap in the face. I've spent more than 200$ over the last 4 years supporting this game and purchasing content for it, and this is how you treat one of your longest-time paying customers? Any business operating this way deserves to fail. Now voting with my wallet. I will never purchase RP again until Riot publicly acknowledges these connectivity issues and issues leaver-buster pardons to myself and all other players affected. Until that happens, Riot has shown itself to be a company you CANNOT trust with your money or patronage.
The only problem is that all of the money I've already spent on your game feels like a huge waste, and I feel dumb for trusting this company and supporting this game. Punish me for your failure to render service? How incredibly obnoxious, and insulting.
