CTRL key getting locked in-game

Most games I've been playing over the past month or so I've encountered this bug, and it causes my team losses frequently due to the fact that I'm out of the game for a period of time. Randomly at some point in the game, my ctrl key will get locked, and all I can do is right click and ping. My left clicks become a ping, and I lose all functionality of my keyboard other than being able to alt+tab out. After alt+tabbing out, if I go to my task bar and click back into the game, my champion will suddenly move somewhere random on the map.

I've noticed it seems to happen most often after a death or when I return to base after a recall, but sometimes it happens at other random points in the game. Sometimes exiting and reconnecting seem to fix it until it happens again. Other times I have to completely close out of the client and relaunch everything. Other times I've just sat and waited and everything goes back to normal after a few minutes (the length of time varies). I also feel I should mention I rarely ever actually press the ctrl key in game, so I do not believe that to be the cause.

I've also noticed that if I alt+tab out, the ctrl key is still locked in other programs, such as Google Chrome. If I'm in game and this bug happens, and then I alt+tab to Chrome, using my mouse wheel zooms no longer scrolls up and down, but zooms in/out as if I was pressing the ctrl key. I have NEVER experienced this outside of playing League, but I frequently experience while playing the game. It happens at least once every game, sometimes two or three times in a game. Any help with this issue would be great.
