Ekko Q Invisible

Had some connectivity issue loading into game (bug splat). Reloaded seemingly fine and went to top vs ekko. Could not see his q whenever he threw it. I could see the passive stacks if it hit me or minions and could get a glimpse as it changed direction but other than that it was completely invisible. Definitely made laning harder. He had a skin although I am unsure what it was...sorry that's all the detail I can remember.
