Bug Splat Crash 50% of my games

The instant either my Nexus or the enemy Nexus is destroyed, I have an estimated 50% chance for the game to freeze and crash. I have to ctrl+alt+delete to close the game. After that, the client shows me the dialogue that tells me I left a game in progress and I'm forced to click "Reconnect", then wait twenty seconds and alt+f4 if I want to see my stats and participate in post-game chat. This has been happening for months. At least the last four or five patches. I keep expecting it to get fixed but it keeps happening and the most recent posts I can find about this problem are from 2013.
