Turrets Don't Protect Eggnivia [GAMEPLAY]

During a team fight at our tier two mid lane turret with a wave of enemy minions, Anivia's passive was hatched by Leona who was shot down by the turret. Then Jax attacked Eggnivia while the turret shot minions. After Eggnivia perished, Jax attacked Lucian and the turret switched to him.

I haven't attempted to reproduce the issue. It would take a lot of coordination in a custom game. But here is a screenshot.
