New Client error League of Legends failed to Launch

I'm experiencing the same problem :(

I FINALLY FREAKING FIXED THE ISSUE! (atleast for myself)

so i deleted the old short-cut for league... then i just opened the file location and used the LeagueClient.exe from there. This for some reason just worked and now i don't have to deal with this stupid error message.

easy fix btw......all you have windows 7+ .........now riot need to fix it but it compatibility issue......just right click the icon on desktop......then hit trouble shoot compatibility.....follow the steps ten to one will say windows xp s2.....so launch u will get a error when launching this way just hit the X on the error then.....save the setting it did then exit then run off desktop then boom fixed....

How to fix?

So I had this problem, and to try to work around the step where it gives you a huge ass button that says play and pressing it, which is where I got the problem, I pressed stay signed in below the password box when logging in and it seemed to get past that and go to the home page of the actual client immediately. I don't know if this will work for you guys, but this is what worked for me

Edit: Or maybe you could just wait it out, I don't really know, it was locked up for about 40 minutes for me until I did the thing^
