patch 5.17 loading screen bug

As of patch 5.17 i have not been able to load into the loading screen this goes for ranked normal custom games and even the tutorial once i get out of champion select the game just doesn't open the loading screen and if i open the client is simply says im in game if i relog it says i can reconnect but if i click that the client closes and the same thing happens now this has only been happening since the newest patch. I can still play on patch 5.16 on a different client of the game and league of legends works fine so im assuming it is a bug with the new patch. Any support or help on how to fix this bug would be greatly appreciated.
