so i stack relic shield as Tristana and i did not receive the bonus at 650 gold it was stuck there, is this a bug? there no mention that i should not receive it....

Part of the quest involves upgrading the gold-generation item to its second tier.

You have to upgrade it to targon's Embrace if you want the shield.
