New client bug: Ban button not working and Champions are unavailable

I recently went into a ranked game on the live client on league of legends. I was running into some issues with selecting champs and was unable to press the ban button. After banning the time ran out and the client ran into a connection issue and prompted me to close the client, which is what I did. After logging back in I was still in the champion select but was unable to select any champions, which made me dodge the game. Pls Rito, fix this bug so I do not have to lose my precious lp and time.
