Beginner Missions not showing up

Hello, me and my SO made an account together and for my SO the (what I assume to be) beginner missions aren't showing up. For example, I get a progression of missions that allow me to unlock champions, like "Play a game of Summoner's Rift Draft Pick PvP" to unlock Darius, but that quest doesn't show up for him. In fact, no missions show up for him (except the current MSI Trials missions). Just wondering if there was a reason or fix for this so he could unlock champions and have missions to work towards, thanks.
