Created a game and was unable to see most of the hud

I started a game in normals and was not able to view anything but my character ( ) the map and the minimap. I couldn't hit tab so I had no Idea when anything was coming up. I thought it might have been a command prompt but I had barely entered the game when it did this and I only bought items and right clicked plus I still had my minimap and I couldn't hit tab. I lost because I didn't know when anything was cooling down nor could I see really any useful information about me or my abilities. The problem was solved when I restarted the client but by that time it was gg.
