Wont connect to matches

Im getting punished for shit that isnt my fault riot, and its pissing me off. Ever since 5.5 hit ive been having the issue where patcher launches, patches fine, but when you click launch the fkin game, nothing happens. The one time it does work, then I launch into a ranked game, and the client crashes attempting to load into the match. Try as I might i cant reconnect, it just keeps crashing. So I restard league, well could you imagin my luck rito when your stupid client doesnt load up after patcher.
Come to find out there IS a client exe hidden away in some stupid folder in the game files, heaven forbid you make that easy to find, as it turns out you can launch the client yourself after running the patcher. Also, during my indepth research into the issue while my team is dying because its a 4v5 because i cant connect to the fking game, I find out itunes_helper may also be a cause. How the hell is this even a thing? I kill that process, and what do you know, Im in the game, but we lose because its 25 fucking minutes in and im level 1 with no goddam gold.
Then to add salt on the fucking wounds rito you make me agree to this stupid fucking punishment where if I "leave the game one more time" ill get the ban hammer. I get that you want to punish leavers. I get that. Especially in ranked. But look at my history for christ sake. Ive played this game for almost 3 fucking years on and off, Ive obviously put more money into this game than I should. And you guys dont even have the decency to code in some rudementary check to see how many times someone has actually left the game in the past before slapping them in the face? Really? Ive never quit a game except for reasons that were completely out of my control which has happened probably 3 or 4 times in 3 FUCKING YEARS RIOT.
