BOTRK exploit

I know of a guy who was using the exploit yesterday and went from 0 ranked games to 22 ranked games and hit platinum and knocked me out of my series for plat 3. I found that he name changed his account and then made another account with the original name he was cheating on. Will they still be able to ban him even though he changed the name of his account?

They can ban a main based on a forum smurf. #Wookieop And considering that he has to purchase a namechange with rp, thats pretty dam obvious.

Everyone who used Botrk and abused it should've been banned, well riot said that at least
