[GAMEPLAY] Playing in a different dimension?

I don't know how to explain what's going on. My ping appears fine so I don't think its lag. Essentially at random moments a few things would happen...

  1. The sound would stop.
  2. I can move my guy around, and it appears like everyone else is moving- but what's going on ON screen isn't consistent to what's really going on.
  3. I can see life disappear or people hitting 0hp but they won't die.
  4. I can cast spells and abilities but I'm basically guessing.

The screen isn't locking up per se- but I can't tell what's going on.
I tried lowering my settings to the lowest.
At first I thought it helped, but then another game later I had it happening again even more frequently.
My internet appears to be fine, so I'm not sure the cause.

I think tell when I'm back in the "normal dimension" when the sound starts playing again.
Then all the pieces on the board are where they truly are.

Sounds like packet loss. Please follow the steps (if there are any you haven't completed) on the Connection Troubleshooting Guide to make sure your connection is set up properly.

If those steps don't help, you can view your connection by running a traceroute, and sharing the results might show us where it's going wrong. I suggest downloading the WinMTR Network Diagnostic Tool, then use that to run a traceroute to the following IP (allow this to run for 5-15 minutes);

104.160.131.1

Export the results to a text file and paste them here.
