How can i lose promotions from this match history RIOT explain

The third on the list yasuo game got me to 100 lp and then the day after i decided to play more and i won a game and won it as well which should give me 1 win out of 3 games in promotions but that wasnt the case the promotions had an x and then a circle and one match not played therefore they gave me a FREE LOSS thats just dumb its like riot dont want anyone out of bronze.
