kassadin can one shot tanks now?

i just had a game where a kassadin jg was picked on the enemy team at first it wasnt working and he kept dying then he ragequit for about 10 mins after he came back all of a sudden this dude can one shot damn near everyone on the map even two tanks on my team is this a possible bug?

Nope, Kass does a lot of damage, plus you guys had hardly any MR built and he had a Void Staff.
